What a way to “Spring Fling” at our first of many market events on the lawn at GreenStreet Houston! We are in the heart of of a rising community of retailers and small businesses downtown, and wanted to showcase talented local art and small businesses we love.
GreenStreet is the catalyst for the next phase of revitalization downtown with over 160,000 daytime office workers, 66,000 household population, $8.3 billion in development since 2008, 10 million tourists annually, 277% increase in residency since 2000 and 8000 residents downtown, companies relocating/expanding!
So many shoppers came by enjoying the Spring weather, the vendor pop ups, our photo booth, courtesy of Snapix Events, and checked out the latest murals. Sales from the market benefitted Writers in the Schools, with a mission of building a love of reading and writing in local at-risk schools.
Another major attraction of the day was the Curbside Sliderz food truck and ice cold Austin Eastciders! Thankful they served up our shoppers a taste of Texas and the newest addition to their lineup, Rose Dry Cider; Big taste in the Best City!
See you next time on the lawn, Houston!
